Mike & BB head off on the second leg of the 'Big One' and intend taking in the South Coastal Regions of Western Australia where the summer temperatures are mild. The intent being to head toward South Australia during this period and then navigating toward Darwin's tropics during the Autumn and Winter months. Sounds easy, lets see what happens!

First stop at Manjimup after securing the caravan at the Warren Way caravan park was at the Manjimup Hotel for a night out with BB and a rib eye steak was high on the agenda. Well we were delighted with the quality and service and would recommend this icon pub of the early 1900's to anyone, in fact the steak was just bloody brilliant.

Side trips were taken at Pemberton, Windy Harbour and Denmark's Tree Top Walk, with the latter towering over 40m above the forest floor on walk platforms that swayed with every death defying step of the 400m walk. Sounds a bit exaggerated, not if you talk to Mike & HillBilly, both whom hate heights. Well done HillBilly.

We pulled up at the Pink Lake Caravan Park and grabbed the last powered site after finding all other parks full thanks to the Ulysses 'Bikers' AGM being held in Albany WA. Great mob of guy's and gals, very friendly with some great stories to tell about the conduct of WA Police from Perth.
