Dear friend Terry Hondo (Gronk, don't ask) suggested a nostalgic trip back in time on the Pitchi Ritchi Railway out of Quorn some 40Km up in the Flinders Ranges whilst we were in Port Augusta. What he failed to tell us was Quorn is some 1333ft above sea level and Mike & BB could not believe how freaking cold it was whilst we waited for this beautiful steam locomotive and carriages. Brilliant day had by all after we thawed out and if your a railway buff or just love playing with trains then this is for you. The amount of interest this little train generates as it rocks and rolls through the Flinders Ranges is just incredible with the amount of enthusiasts taking photo's from the highways as we rattled past. To Richard Dyson our car Captain, you were bloody hilarious during the trip and with the rest of the crew you do a magnificent job, and to think it's all voluntary.
