Mike & BB were looking forward to returning home to Western Australia after being out for 7 months following the sun but after landing in Kununurra we thought we had caught it with temperatures of 39 for the first few days, bugger!!

We were looking forward to a trip on Lake Argyle and the Ord River and were not disappointed with the guided tour arranged with Triple J.

Incidentally the Kimberly rain fall of 1.5m per annum and the fact that 1m alone from Lake Argyle would service the needs of Perth for a period of 5 years, one wonders why we are unable to pipe the water to Perth given its a life sustaining requirement. Financials should not be a consideration to the future of Western Australia when we are talking water. (Mike's had his say!)

Have a look at the photo's, we think you'll enjoy them.
