Many thanks to old friend Ron Edwards and his mate Geoff Rees for a great day out Barra fishing.

Corroboree Billabong approx 100km southeast of Darwin is a renowned Barra fishing spot to the locals. Well on some days it is, water temperature plays a big part and this day the Barra must have rugged up and stayed indoors. Geoff tried all the tricks in the book, but they remained illusive on the day. Bugger!

The picturesque landscape, bird life and serenity of the area is a treat in itself and only broken by the stark realisation that lurking only metres away are 3 - 5m man-eating crocodiles. Some sunning themselves on the banks of the Billabong as we trolled, whilst others were inquisitive enough to make for the boat. With these monsters just waiting for a feed, one wonders what the hell I'm doing in a boat up to my arse in crocodiles.

Mike & BB hope you enjoy the photo's, so have a look around.
